It has been a while since I have been through a summer thunder storm, and it’s rare for this part of the country. I really enjoy the smell of the rain after it has been really hot for some days. Its like the heavens let water fall on the scorching earth quenching its thirst, and in return it expels a big aahh. During these days the skies display a wide array of awesome colors that I just could not let go without a photograph first. There was no editing done to this image.

My uncle had a birthday party at the park for his daughter - the smallest of all 40 something cousins. I was invited and, of course, I was not going to pass this opportunity to take some photos. Here are just some of the almost 100 pictures I took that day. As always, comments are very welcomed and in every case encouraged.

The summer is a great time to go out and enjoy the sun and Gods creation. I have promised my self that I will do a lot of hiking around this great state of Oregon I call home. There are so many mountains that I just have to visit. Here are the first few pictures I took of the Lower Table Rock found here in the valley. Mom went with me and we left a bit late, I would have liked to have gone early in the morning to get that awesome light one gets at dusk and dawn. Even though I managed to get great shots.
